Choosing how customers pay you

EFT, payment links, cash, card and iKhokha, and where proof of payment goes.

Kartzy never touches your money. Customers pay you directly, using any of the methods you switch on under Settings → Payments:

  • Bank transfer (EFT): enter your bank, account name, account number and branch code. They appear on every total you send.
  • Payment link: a link from Yoco, PayFast, SnapScan or similar. You add a link to each order before sending the total, and can save a fallback link in settings.
  • Cash: on collection or delivery.
  • Card: in person, using your own card machine.
  • Card, automatic (iKhokha): customers pay by card online and the order is confirmed automatically. See Automatic card payments with iKhokha.

Proof of payment

If you accept EFT, fill in Where should buyers send proof of payment?, for example a WhatsApp number or an email address. You can also add Payment instructions, a short note shown with every total.

Important

Always confirm that money has reached your account before marking an order as paid or handing it over.
